How much does a website cost?
You can have one built with nothing to pay upfront and then pay from £25 a month on a pay-monthly plan, with no contract. If you'd rather pay once for the build, a Fast-Track Website is £1,195 to £1,795 and a Bespoke Website is £2,495 to £7,995+. We fix your exact figure in writing after a short call, before any work starts.
How does a pay-monthly plan work?
We build the site at no upfront cost and the first month is on us. After that you pay a monthly fee set by the size of the site: £25 for one page, £45 for five or more, £65 for fifteen or more with a blog or your own login, and £85 for fifty or more. Billing rolls every 30 days and there is no minimum term.
Do I own a pay-monthly website?
No. Pay-monthly sites are managed, not owned: we build, host and run them, and the code and design can't be moved to another host or developer. That is how we can build it with nothing upfront. Your words, photos, logo and domain are always yours.
Who owns the website?
Your words, photos, logo and domain are always yours. A Bespoke Website's code is yours once it is paid in full, and you can host it anywhere. A Fast-Track Website is hosted with us and stays there while your care plan runs; if you ever move on, we help you take your content and domain with you. If you want code you can hand to another developer, choose a Bespoke Website.
What happens if I stop paying?
Monthly plans roll every 30 days and you can cancel any time by WhatsApp, phone or the contact form. Your service runs to the end of the period you've paid for, with no refunds on part months. On a pay-monthly plan or a Fast-Track Website the site then goes offline, unless we've agreed to move it to your own hosting beforehand. On a pay-monthly plan, if a card payment fails we try again automatically and message you, and after 7 days of failed payment the site is taken offline. Come back and we switch it on again at the same address.
Is a Fast-Track Website really live within a week?
Yes, for up to seven pages once your words and photos are with us. A bigger site, a shop or anything with bookings or payments is a Bespoke Website, which takes longer, and we give you the date before we start.
Why is the price a range?
Because no two jobs are the same. A straightforward five-page site sits at the bottom of the range, and one with detailed layouts and several integrations sits at the top. After a short call you get one fixed figure in writing, and it only changes if you add something and agree the new figure first.
Can I spread the cost?
Yes. A Fast-Track Website can be paid over 3 or 6 months. Or choose a pay-monthly plan and pay nothing upfront at all.
What does it cost to keep a website going?
Every website we build comes with a care plan covering hosting, security and backups: Keep is £60 a month, Grow £120 with 30 minutes of changes a month, and Lead £240 with 90 minutes. Pay-monthly plans already include hosting and upkeep in the monthly fee. Your domain renewal is usually £10 to £20 a year, paid to the registrar.
Do I have to take a care plan?
Yes, on a Fast-Track or Bespoke Website. A site nobody is updating, backing up or watching is the one that breaks or gets hacked, so we don't hand one over without it. It rolls monthly with no minimum term, and you can move up or down whenever you like. On a pay-monthly plan it is already included.
What does a website review cost?
The website check is free and gives you two or three things to fix straight away. An in-depth website review is £144, and that £144 comes off your build if you go ahead with us.
