Stock photography £145; shoots quoted
Your food, your rooms and your team, shot on a good day.
Photographs made for the way people actually look at them: small, on a phone, in a list with six other places.
Every price is on the pricing page, and you get a fixed figure in writing before anything starts.
What people tell us before they ring us.
A picture is doing the selling before anybody reads a word. On a phone it is about the size of a beer mat, so what matters is what it is a picture of and whether the light was any good, not how many megapixels went into it.
“The photos are from 2016 and the kitchen has been redone twice since.”
A half day on site gets the room, the food, the front and the people as they are now, edited in one grade so they read as one business.
“Every photo I have is of an empty room.”
We shoot with a table laid, a bed made and somebody in the frame, because an empty room reads as a room nobody wanted.
“The pictures never fit properly wherever I put them.”
We shoot for the crop each place needs: wide for the site, square for the Google profile, upright for a phone. Same day, one visit.
What you are actually buying.
- A half day or a day on site
- Planned round your light and your service, so we are not photographing a dining room in the middle of a lunch rush.
- Edited photographs in one grade
- So the food, the room and the team look like they belong to the same place rather than three different ones.
- Crops for every place they go
- Cut from the same frames, so the picture on your Google profile is the same picture as the one on the site.
- Short clips if you want them
- A few seconds of the pass, the pour or the view, cut for a phone and quiet enough to work with the sound off.
- Files sized for the web, and originals for print
- Delivered small enough not to slow the site down, with the full-size versions kept for the menu and the poster.
How it actually runs.
The day is planned round your light and your service, and you know what is on the shot list before anybody turns up.
A shot list before the day
We agree what has to be in the pictures: the six dishes, the four rooms, the van, the two people, the front in decent light.
The day itself
We work round service rather than through it. If the light is wrong we say so and come back rather than hand you something flat.
Edit and hand over
One grade across the set, every crop cut, everything sized for the web, and the originals kept for print.
What lands on your side of the table.
- A shot list agreed before anybody turns up
- Photographs of the rooms, the food, the front and the people
- One grade across the whole set
- Every crop the site, Google and social accounts need
- Web-sized files plus full-size originals

Worth reading first
What does a shoot cost?
A shoot is quoted for the day, because it depends on the place and how much has to be photographed. You get a number in writing before anybody turns up. If good stock photography will do, that is £145.
Where can I use the photographs?
They are made for your website, your Google profile, your social accounts and your printed menu. Tell us before the day if you also want them for paid adverts or a magazine and we will price that in rather than argue about it later.
Does the place need to be empty?
The opposite. A laid table, a made bed and a person in the frame sell better than an empty room. We plan the day round your quiet hour so nobody is standing in the way.
What if the weather is against us?
For anything outside we agree a second date before the first one happens. Grey light is fine for a lot of it. Horizontal rain is not, and we will say so rather than shoot it anyway.

We’ll tell you what to fix first.
Tell us what needs photographing and when your quiet hour is.
A real person looks at it on a real phone. If it is fine we will say so and you have lost nothing. If it is not, you will know which thing to change and roughly what that would cost.
